On the job

Equipment, rooms and moments from live production

These scenes show the kit and settings our crews use. Each one reflects a step in how a live show is built, run and monitored from start to finish.

  1. Vision mixer cutting between camera feeds

Vision mixer cutting between camera feeds

The vision mixer watches several camera sources at once and cuts to the shot that follows the action. Good timing comes from knowing the running order and listening to the director throughout.

  2. Production gallery with a full monitor wall

A well-planned gallery puts every source within the operators' view. Monitor placement, desk height and signal labelling all affect how calmly a long show runs.

  3. Streaming desk with encoder and stream monitor

Streaming desk with encoder and stream monitor

The streaming producer watches the outgoing feed as closely as the programme itself. Encoding settings, graphics and platform checks are confirmed before the event begins.

  4. Camera operator at an outdoor festival stage

Stage cameras are positioned with the crowd, the lighting and the screens in mind. Operators agree shot types and cues with the gallery before the first act.

  5. Replay and graphics console during a live show

The video operator cues replays, lower thirds and screen content on request. Clear calls from the director keep each element on air at the right moment.

  6. Production manager coordinating on headset

The production manager keeps crews, timings and cues in step. A short, steady voice on the intercom matters most when the schedule changes mid-show.

Service in detail

Multi-camera switching for live programmes

This service suits concerts, studio shows and events where several cameras feed one programme. A vision mixer works with the director, follows the running order and delivers a clean cut for broadcast, recording or screens.

Briefing and running order
Before the day we go through the schedule, camera positions and cue list with your team. The vision mixer learns the show's structure so the cuts anticipate what comes next.
Rehearsal and line-up
Where time allows, a rehearsal lets operators check shot choices and talkback. Cameras are lined up so colour and framing match when the programme goes live.
Live switching
During the show the vision mixer cuts between sources at a pace suited to the content. Priya Nair leads this work, particularly for fast music and festival productions.
Handover and recording
Once the show ends we confirm what was recorded and delivered. Any notes from the day are passed back to you so the next booking runs even more smoothly.

Send the running order, camera count and venue plan when you enquire. Even a rough schedule helps us suggest the right crew and rehearsal time.
